Here is where you’ll find information on past parents who have contributed to our foundation and legacy. From time to time we will place our retired adults when it is best for them (even though it may break our hearts). Should we have an available adult it will be indicated here at the bottom of the dogs bio.
We took Penelope in with her mate Dash in 2021 from an Abusive situation. At the time while we were arranging purchasing them, we just thought we were getting 2 great mals to add to our pack, but it was apparent otherwise once I went to pick them up. I brought them home regardless as my heart couldn’t leave them there, once they got home they felt green grass for the first time, and their joy brought me to tears. After assessing Penelope, we decided to rehabilitate and home her in a pet home, however her and Dash were inseperable, and snuck one in on us. In her time here, just over a year she blessed us with a litter of 6 beautiful babies, and blossomed into herself as she was no longer in fear. We did not keep any of her offspring. Penelope has since been placed in a retirement home and is loving life.
We took Ariel in from a small breeder in winter of 2021. She is a high energy girl that is incredibly intelligent and easy to train. When we took her in she was pregnant, about 2 weeks from having puppies. After weaning her puppies, she took a long break, and we completed her health testing once she turned 2, then she had one more litter for us. She is momma to Foxy and Flanna. She is half sibling to Jake (same dad). She loved pulling weight around in a harness, but we knew pet life was best for her. She is spayed and living her best life in a pet home in northern Michigan!
Scarlet is a fun loving big girl, she is commonly referred to as “bomb proof” when it comes to how she interacts with the rest of the pack! She is is ornery as they come at times, but you couldn’t ask for a sweeter dog. Scarlet retired in 2023 after giving us 3 beautiful litters of pups. She is mother to Mooshie and Smoke. She is spayed and living out her best life here with us.
We got Dash in spring 2021 at 5 years old. He was your typical alpha male malamute. We called him our sourpatch kid, he was the best with us humans but other dogs not so much. He loved being brushed and was as sassy as they come. We retired him from our program in 2022 and placed him in a retirement home with a past puppy parent. There are pictures in the gallery from when we met up with his retirement family in Cleveland and they took him home to Massachusetts. He is thriving and loving the family life.
